Qualifications of Appraisers
*The two important qualifications for an accurate appraisal are the ability to identify the objects to be appraised and a thorough knowledge of the antiques market.
We have over twenty-five years of combined experience as appraisers of antiques and fine arts. Furthermore, we have individually been serious collectors of antique European and American decorative arts, furniture, paintings and prints, as well as Asian decorative arts, for over thirty years. These professional and collecting interests give us an intimate familiarity with the art and antiques market (auctions, antiques shows, dealers, private and institutional collectors) and the scholarly research that informs it.
